I'm starting a new series here on the blog.
Every Friday I'll be pausing to notice something from the week that has nourished my soul.
A special, sacred-everyday moment captured on camera, or perhaps a snippet from a book, a recipe still warm from the kitchen or something whimsical that simply made me smile.
What has inspired/fed/nourished your soul this week friends?
Feel free to link up to your own soulful spaces either at the bottom of this post or in the comments.
Here are a few simple things that have fed my soul this week...
Simple, self seeded Garden Beauty |
Collecting Chamomile heads from the herb patch and sipping fresh tea on a Summer's eve. |
This magical overgrown arch of wilderness and wonder by the side of the house. |
A pretty new skirt gifted by a friend |
This beautiful, haunting tune.
Your blog! Nourished my soul, this week!
ReplyDeleteLovely words... Soft and lovely photos.... Gentle thoughts...
Thank you.
I say thank you for your blog, because I don't think we do this, enough. Express thanks, along the way, to those who make our life's path, more smooth and joyful. Especially in Pretty Blog Land. We work on our blogs. We do. And since we are human, we enjoy hearing that our work, has been noticed and appreciated. :-) So.... I try to say thank you, now and then.
Tessa
Oh my! And Instagram follower! Who is not a family member. How lovely.
ReplyDeleteBut please, give me a link to your Instagram. Orrrr, perhaps it will be there, when I open the Galaxy. I am so very, very, very new at this. -grin-
And now I must work "harder" on it! :-) Learning to hold my monster-Galazy still, to take photos. And learn to maybe, bring my regular little cameras photos, over to Instagram. A _fun_ sort of work, to anticipate, though.
Again, thank you!!!!!
Tessa

DeleteSuzy,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your gentle word and images with us.
I wanted to suggest, if I may, and it's not too personal, how sis your recent period of illness impact your faith?
I wondered if you would pen a blog post about that?
Thank you for sharing with us.

DeleteSo much nourishment in this post, lovely! My nourishment this week...a friend visiting for a few days with her family, and allowing ourselves to just sink into out time together, no plans, just time being together.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.

DeleteBeautiful and inspiring post. And I love that skirt!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sarah :) xx
DeleteThe wonderful, wild arch of flowers is fantastic! It looks like you could walk through it and find fairies dancing on the other side.
ReplyDeleteSuzy Mae. You know, I think I sighed happily on my insides when I clicked over here, to this beautiful space of yours, and it felt like stepping inside a friend's house. Like, yeah, this is one of my people. That wild curtain of vines in your hollow, that spillage of golden light through trees, all these photos, that soulful pause to notice beauty around you. How I love this. I appreciated your kind words over at my blog and I'll be back here, oh yes.
ReplyDeleteLovely, and your grass is so green! I felt nourished by some sweet clothes that came in the mail for my girls this week, and more time at the beach. I love your new header.
ReplyDeletei can see why all of that nourished your soul. <3
