I'm starting a new series here on the blog.
*
Every Friday I'll be pausing to notice something from the week that has nourished my soul.
*
A special, sacred-everyday moment captured on camera, or perhaps a
snippet from a book, a recipe still warm from the kitchen or something
whimsical that simply made me smile.
*
What has inspired/fed/nourished your soul this week friends?
*
Feel free to link up to your own soulful spaces either at the bottom of this post or in the comments.

Here are a few simple things that have fed my soul this week.
“Be a lamp, or a lifeboat, or a ladder. Help someone's soul heal. Walk out of your house like a shepherd.”
Rumi
These wheat sheaves will be shorn and stacked in beautiful bundles now.
Just in time. As I tap these words into this page the rain runs rivulets down my windowpane.

The pores of the earth are open and the evening air carries a chill.

Summer is growing old gracefully.

As I write I'm listening to some beautiful, traveler music brimming with story and poetry.

Beautiful images, and I love your drawings. My soul was nourished by a walk in the woods with my little man today. It was exactly what we both needed, and we left the trail feeling connected to nature, and to each other.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds perfect Kim :) I love taking walks with the girls, and taking time to notice the little changes of the seasons as we go.
DeleteYou once again offer me a space of beauty and peace when I visit Suzy, thank you.
ReplyDeleteI was nourished this week by cooler temperatures, wee creatures and a surprise
