{Soulfood Friday}
Flowers can look even more beautiful when they fade. Especially in quiet sunlight.
Watercolors with Boo. A good way to spend the afternoon.
An Epiphany tale with candlelight.
Every Friday I'll be pausing to notice something from the week that has nourished my soul.
*
A special, sacred-everyday moment captured on camera, or perhaps a snippet from a book, a recipe still warm from the kitchen or something whimsical that simply made me smile.
*
Here are a few simple things that have fed my soul this week.
What has inspired/fed/nourished your soul this week friends?

Beautiful painting! Lovely light! Have a beautiful weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh I just love the way you've captured the light in the images with the flowers. I almost posted a similar one today. Mine had a bit of a plastic bottle of club soda from Christmas party in it so I'm glad I didn't use it. I have been sort of lazy with picture taking the month of December. But, I am back at it now. What kind of water colours do you use? I like the little tin you have pictured. I want to start playing around with painting but just don't know what kind to use. I need something that is pleasant to work with but isn't so dear.
ReplyDeleteHi! Thank yo ufor your lovely comment:) We don't use very expensive watercolours, but they work well for us. These are the paints:

Such lovely pictures of the flowers backlit from the sun. Love the watercolour picture too - very whimsical and mysterious - you have a clever girl there.
