Saw your lovely comment in Sarah's "Knitting the wind" blog... You certainly love her writing, as I do. So I thought I'd pop in over here, and tell you so.
And you too, have a beautiful blog... Your photos have such a peacefulness to them... And an almost old fashioned softness... Since I am 'Olden,' I appreciate 'old fashioned.' :-)
But I also need pumping brightness, at times too.
Ahhhh yes, we are many faceted beings... Full of stardust and dreams and wishes... Even when 'Olden.'
Oh goodness, beautiful quote, writing it down in my journal, thank you for sharing. Gorgeous photos.
Stopped in after your comment on my blog today, did you take a blogging break? Your posts aren't showing up in my feed anymore. I will add you again :)
Hi Kim, Lovely to see you again :) Yes I did take a break. There have been lots of changes here at home recently. I've not been well and we have taken a homeschooling break so I closed the blog down for a little while. I'm glad to be writing in this space again. Wishing you a lovely day xx
Hello there, Suzy - I too lost your "feed" for a while. Lovely to find you again, though sorry to hear about your exhaustion. I hope your health has recovered since that post. You have marshalled a lot of great quotes and beautiful photographs in the last few posts. I am very familiar with worry about how a child will make it through the "system" but I have seen many outwardly-successful young people crumble under stress, whereas I think that young people with truly loving and supportive families will find their way and grow in strength. Take care!
Thank you for your lovely comment Christine :) It's lovely to see you again! There are so many hoops to jump through aren't there :( I feel for children and families theses days. There is so much pressure, so much more than there used to be. xx
I treasure each and every one of your comments. Your kind words never fail to bring a smile to my face:) At the moment I am going through a busy season of life with 5 girls under my wing! I may not always be able to respond immediately but please know that every word left here is read and appreciated deeply. xx

ReplyDeleteThank you,

This quote has so often come to mind when I've felt overwhelmed and unproductive :) Intention and process are what matter most :)
