{Yarn Along} ...

Joining Ginny for another Yarn Along today!
I am not getting along as fast as I hoped with Fina's sweater. I've only managed to knit halfway up the front since last week but we've had so many Christmas inspired projects on the go it's little wonder it has stalled a little!

To be honest I find once advent begins we settle into a far slower rhythm.

There is just something about the cold drizzly days that make me want to do nothing but snuggle under blankets, light a few candles, read stories such as this lovely series found linked @ Bending Birches...

Craft decorations, cards, secret gifts and drink lots of warm tea and cocoa!

  2. This is such a busy time of year and I find it hard to fit everything in, but the crafts are always so fun.
I do know what you mean about embracing the ups and downs with wee ones and tryhing to hang on to them. It all just goes by too fast! I miss cosleeping with my babies [the youngest is 14 and as tall as his Daddy]!
I hope you have a lovely day!

  4. Wow, your sweater is coming along so beautifully. I agree with embracing the ups and downs better now. When I was a new mom 19 years ago my patience was quite small compared to now. My baby (3 years old) has definitely gotten the best of me and my older kids comment all the time how she gets away with alot more than they ever did lol. Enjoy your snuggly little one.

  6. I don't know if the color in that photograph is true to form, but I LOVE the deep purpl-y blue of your sweater. It's like an inky 9 o'clock sky.
