Giddy,
trembly,
emotional,
teary,
joyful,
brimming,
excited,
wonderful!
.
This time I know how fleeting this time will be.
How these fragments will form some of the most beautiful pieces of my life.
And I have had glass, vases and eggcups full of fresh flowers every day picked by little hands for me.
When my youngest was born, my oldest was fourteen and she was such wonderful help and a great big sister. It was very nice. Looks like you have that with yours, too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful post. A beautiful baby - a beautiful family. Sending you all our best. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting photographs of Nola and for sharing some of your delivery experience.
ReplyDeleteThe Lord blesses me to be able to see how His hand is upon you all.
May you all know such peace as you grow together in love.
Yes. As best you can, keep in step with Heaven in these days.
The fairest blessings to you!
Love,
Laure
Eyes welling with tears over here. Oh Suzy, such beauty! She and you and all this crazy life. You are right- bask in the misty rose-glow of her and HIM who gave such a precious gift to your family.Grateful for your safety and hers and she is just lovely and so are you, sweet sister.
ReplyDeleteI think there 's so much pressure on women to feel that only an unassisted birth is a success. Of the five women in my childbirth class, only one had a completely natural birth. I had to go for an operation after the birth of my daughter, and I just thank God that I live in a time and place where I was able to receive the swift surgical help I needed in order to be around to bring up my beautiful children. Nola is simply gorgeous and is living proof that your body, with a bit of help right at the last lap, is certainly able to bring forth these beautiful souls. Take good care of yourself and bless all of you.
ReplyDeleteWelcome, beautiful baby Nola! ♥ Congrats Suzy... She is lovely. =)
