Sunhats
Emmy made some sunhats for her sisters as part of her Maths school work.
She has been learning Pi and had to use the Pi ratio and calculations to convert Seraphina's head measurements into a pattern.
It was surprisingly easy to make up too.
Only three pieces needed for a simple one tier hat like this.
Sewing on a curve was the trickiest part.

I treasure each and every one of your comments.
Your kind words never fail to bring a smile to my face:)
At the moment I am going through a busy season of life with 5 girls under my wing! I may not always be able to respond immediately but please know that every word left here is read and appreciated deeply.

Oh, I'd love it if you made this into a PDF pattern. I've only just started sewing again, and we love sunhats!
