Welcoming baby Nola

This time I know how fleeting this time will be.
How these fragments will form some of the most beautiful pieces of my life.

Boo made the most beautiful little elephant for her with a dear friend as her first "toy" :)

And I have had glass, vases and eggcups full of fresh flowers every day picked by little hands for me.

  1. When my youngest was born, my oldest was fourteen and she was such wonderful help and a great big sister. It was very nice. Looks like you have that with yours, too.

  2. What a beautiful post. A beautiful baby - a beautiful family. Sending you all our best. xoxo

  3. Thank you for posting photographs of Nola and for sharing some of your delivery experience.

The Lord blesses me to be able to see how His hand is upon you all.

May you all know such peace as you grow together in love.

Yes. As best you can, keep in step with Heaven in these days.

    The fairest blessings to you!

  4. Eyes welling with tears over here. Oh Suzy, such beauty! She and you and all this crazy life. You are right- bask in the misty rose-glow of her and HIM who gave such a precious gift to your family.Grateful for your safety and hers and she is just lovely and so are you, sweet sister.

  5. I think there 's so much pressure on women to feel that only an unassisted birth is a success. Of the five women in my childbirth class, only one had a completely natural birth. I had to go for an operation after the birth of my daughter, and I just thank God that I live in a time and place where I was able to receive the swift surgical help I needed in order to be around to bring up my beautiful children. Nola is simply gorgeous and is living proof that your body, with a bit of help right at the last lap, is certainly able to bring forth these beautiful souls. Take good care of yourself and bless all of you.

  6. Welcome, beautiful baby Nola! ♥ Congrats Suzy... She is lovely. =)

"A babe in the house is a well-spring of pleasure, a messenger of peace and love, a resting place for innocence on earth, a link between angels and men."
    ~Martin Fraquhar Tupper

  7. Oh, so happy for you! She's beautiful, has a beautiful name, and you look radiant in the hospital photo.

  8. Welcome baby Nola and congratulations Suzy and family. What a wonderful bundle of joy for you all to enjoy.

  9. Oh, she's beautiful, Suzy! Thank you so much for sharing your photos and birth story. I remember feeling all the words at the beginning of your post when my kids were born. It's a beautiful, extraordinary time, isn't it? I'm so happy for you. Sending big smiles :)

  10. Well done Suzy, Nola is beautiful, I am so pleased to hear that the two of you are getting some quiet times together, with all your other little girls wanting to 'mother' Nola I imagine those times will be most precious x x x x x

I treasure each and every one of your comments.
Your kind words never fail to bring a smile to my face:)
At the moment I am going through a busy season of life with 5 girls under my wing! I may not always be able to respond immediately but please know that every word left here is read and appreciated deeply.
