Soulfood Friday

Slow stitching with four little girls on a rainy afternoon.

Every Friday I'll be pausing to notice something from the week that has nourished my soul.

A special, sacred-everyday moment captured on camera, or perhaps a snippet from a book, a recipe still warm from the kitchen or something whimsical that simply made me smile.

Here are a few simple things that have fed my soul this week.

What has inspired/fed/nourished your soul this week friends?

  2. Done free-hand! Not following a printed pattern. Amazing....

The little stools... My husband is a life-long woodworker. So the stool tops caught my eye. Lovely... Carved and painted. Unique.

Thank you for well wishes about my dental work. All done, and just ordinary Tylenol takes care of the discomfort. Sooooo, glad to have this behind me!!!

  9. Beautifully done. I remember learning to embroider and it was challenging. But oh the time spent with Mom was such a treasure! Thank you!!

  13. That just looks SO calming and peaceful. I have just started a cross-stitch project myself. I have to take my contacts out in order to do it and that in itself is a good thing to do! Have a good weekend. X

  15. That looks like a nice peaceful way to spend an afternoon. I've been terribly busy these past few days and could use a day or two devoted to some needlework. Perhaps tomorrow.

  16. What a perfect way to spend an indoor afternoon in autumn. Just to sit and stitch, what bliss that would be at the moment.
