Weekending
First blossom.
Ice cold, rushing streams...
Small, busy girls...
Home time piggy backs...
Quiet morning, knitting, pattern making, writing with paper and ink.
Paper doll making.
Doll dress making with Tilda, the best assistant seamstress, pin counter and thread cutter in all the world!
Some bickering, tired girls, teething and midnight cuddles downstairs till heavy bodies fell asleep in arms ready to be carried back to bed.
Tilda saying that everything she likes is "her favourite and her best!"
Braving biting winds and slushy muddiness to play in wild open spaces.
Nola and Fina "cooking" leaf pies together.
A pile of boots in a very soggy porch.
Happy doll photography for a friend.
Thinking about buying seeds and plans for the Spring garden.

At the moment I am going through a busy season of life with 5 girls under my wing! I may not always be able to respond immediately but please know that every word left here is read and appreciated deeply.

Your weekend is a lot prettier than mine :) Here we don't even think about seeing any blossoms until April, and my activities for the last couple of days have centered around several puppies with intestinal distress, so thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures! I'm loving those wet green landscapes in particular.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lovely weekend. I love seeing that green poking through.
